Our Speech and Language Assessment is designed to identify the specific areas where an individual may require support. The speech component focuses on how sounds and words are pronounced, while the language portion evaluates both expressive (speaking) and receptive (understanding) skills. Depending on the referral concerns, additional areas such as social communication, early literacy, cognitive communication, and accent modification may also be assessed.
The assessment lasts 60 minutes and includes a brief treatment report if therapy services are recommended. If support is needed, individualized treatment goals will be developed. Assessments can be completed virtually, at our center, or in the home (limited availability, depending on therapist scheduling). Contact us to see how a Speech-Language Pathologist can help.
